The Midtown sushi restaurant, which opened in the luxe Hotel Ignacio in October 2014, has been closed since January due to construction on the building.

Owner Brad Beracha tells Feast that BaiKu will reopen next Tue., April 26, and chef Eliott Harris will be taking the reins. Harris is a St. Louis native and a skilled sushi chef – local diners might recognize him from his work as executive chef at the now-shuttered Miso, sushi consultant for Central Table Food Hall or owner of Chop Shop STL, the sushi-centric food truck he closed in December.
